Story
The trail runner that’s designed to earn a patina
As the first collaboration between the sneaker legends at Saucony and the style experts at 3sixteen, the “Gesso” brings elevated elements to a trail-tested design. Its name comes from the material artists use to prime their canvas, and not by accident—this shoe is designed to earn a patina. Even though 3sixteen reimagined the look of this sneaker with a bespoke colorway and hits of hairy suede on the tongue and heel, they left the Peregrine 15’s original grippy outsole, cushy midsole, and breathable mesh intact. Combine the two, and you’ve got one of the most on- or off-the-trail ready shoes we’ve ever worn.

About Saucony
In their 121 years of hard training, Saucony has seen it all. They’ve seen their shoes transform from humble leather cleats into today’s lightweight wonders, sponsored some particularly badass runners like Rod Dixon, and even played a part in the shoes Neil Armstrong wore for his “one small step” onto the moon.
About 3sixteen
Saying that 3sixteen's stylish, meticulously crafted apparel is a North Star in the menswear world isn't an overstatement. With nearly two decades of experience crafting premium denim, 3sixteen co-founders Andrew Chen and Johan Lam get deep into the weeds developing fabrics and partnering with manufacturers to produce some of the best damn jeans you've ever worn. And it doesn't stop there. Natural dyes, hand-stitched details, world-class materials—they carry that same quality to everything in their lineup from knit polos to crosscut flannels. All the while building upon their well-established foundation (and the foundation of any closet)—an absolutely stellar pair of jeans.
