Vintage-inspired in hefty Japanese flannel

Richter looked to the past for inspiration on a chore coat that will never go out of style. Taking a cue from early 1900s cuts, this easy essential is made from heavyweight flannel from Japan to keep you warm and wear beautifully over time. Each stitch and pearl snap is handmade by a team of 12 dedicated craftspeople in the Lone Star State.

How to Measure - Chest: Measure straight across from edge to edge, starting 1" below the armhole, multiply by 2 - Shoulder: Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam. Again, it’s easiest to measure across the back of the garment - Body Length: Start at the top of the shoulder where it meets the neck seam, and measure straight down to the hem - Sleeve Length: Start at the center of the back of the neck, measure straight across to the shoulder seam, and then follow the edge of the garment to the cuff. Pro tip: it’s easiest to measure across the back of the sleeve

About Richter Goods

As a child growing up in Mexico city, Mario Guajardo wore the neatly pressed Western shirts and Cuban-heeled cowboy boots his father—and his father’s father—favored. The descendant of native Texans eventually returned home at the age of 26 and set up shop in San Antonio, hell-bent on sewing authentic Western shirts himself. Working with luxurious fabrics sourced from mills in Japan and Italy, plus a team of highly skilled sewers, Richter Goods turns out small batches of premium Texas-made Western shirting that are just about as authentic as it gets.
