Story

Old-world Tuscan craftsmanship in a comfortable leather loafer

Astorflex brings their generations of footwear expertise to the Waveflex Goat Leather Loafer, a masterclass in Tuscan cobbling. Built using a traditional stitch-down construction, these loafers bypass the stiff break-in period typical of high-end dress shoes. The premium bovine suede upper offers a soft, lived-in feel from day one, while the interior is lined with vegetable-tanned calf leather for superior breathability and a healthy foot environment. Whether you're heading to a summer wedding or a casual office, these are designed to be the most comfortable slip-ons in your rotation.

Features

  • Stitch-down construction offers increased flexibility and a lightweight feel

About

When you take top-grade, eco-conscious leather sourced from Tuscany’s master tanneries and pair it with the meticulous art of Italian craftsmanship, you get nothing short of an Astorflex shoe. Nestled in the small northern Italian town of Castel D’ario (Mantova) since the 19th century, Astorflex is a family endeavor that’s been elevating the shoe game for seven generations. From suede desert boots to everyday leather chukkas, each custom style is handbuilt to the Travenzoli family’s legendary standards. In fact, when we first discovered their criminally underrated chukkas a while back, they shipped each order with a box of pasta from their family-run restaurant. Basically, any shoemaker can put Italian leather on rubber soles and call it a day, but few can turn those same materials into a walking work of art. And that’s just what Astroflex does.
