Vintage Flannel Workshirt
Story
Garments built for the gold rush and honed through centuries of grit and hard work
In 1897 the Great Klondike Gold Rush was taking Seattle by storm. Lucky for all the panhandlers and fortune seekers in the area, C.C. Filson was prepped to outfit them with Alaskan-inspired outdoor workwear that was crafted for strenuous labor. After the Klondike Gold Rush had come and gone, Filson remained a staple in the Seattle area with trusted clothing and forward-thinking designed. Flash forward to 2019 when the rivers aren’t filled with prospectors, but everyone’s still working just as hard as they did, and Filson’s dedication to quality hasn’t wavered one bit.
Their Vintage Flannel Work Shirt would have been perfect for winter gold mining in the 1890’s, but taking it out to Tahoe or Sugar Loaf in the lodge after a little winter powder session will have to suffice. With a brushed twill interior, thick blanket style cotton fabric, and a military-grade melamine button design, the Vintage Flannel Work Shirt can be worn on the trail or at the dinner table.
