Nestled in the small northern Italian town of Castel D’ario (Mantova) since the 19th century, Astorflex is a family endeavor that’s been elevating the shoe game for seven generations. From suede desert boots to everyday leather chukkas, each custom style is hand-built to the Travenzoli family’s legendary standards. In fact, when we first discovered their criminally underrated chukkas a while back, they shipped each order with a box of pasta from their family-run restaurant. Basically, any shoemaker can put Italian leather on rubber soles and call it a day, but few can turn those same materials into a walking work of art. And that’s just what Astroflex does.
