Filson accomplishes this by combining 60 grams of PrimaLoft insulation and 1.5 ounces of Cordura nylon shell. The feeling? Like wearing an armored, toasty blanket. Other details include a moleskin lining to the collar and handwarmer pockets for comfort—as well as elastic-trimmed armholes and trimmed hem for helping trap in heat. And in classic Filson fashion, the vest channels a cool, rugged look thanks to its no-frills styling.
