As native Michiganders, the founder of TAIT decided that setting up their design studio in Detroit would be a natural decision. But they took that vision one step further with a belief that a positive impact on the local community—and world as a whole—could drive their influence and creative process for the better. Nearly a decade after they first opened their doors, TAIT is sticking to that plan and creating pieces like the Turbo Flyer. This plane is an all-new spin on a childhood classic, with thicker wood and better aerodynamics—field tests prove it can fly up to 50 feet, but we think you can top that.
