Just when we thought Taylor Stitch had reached the height of jeans—fit, feel, construction, the whole shebang—they decided to take another leap forward: an honest evaluation of just what kind of impact their denim had on the environment. They searched high and low for an organic cotton denim that rose to their standards of quality, offered all the benefits of traditional denim, and kept its footprint as small as possible. Coming up empty handed, they did what they do best: made their own. In collaboration with industry leaders in responsible denim, they custom-developed this 100% organic selvage denim that represents their latest step toward greater responsibility and a happier, healthier planet.

Materials
Custom designed in association with ISKO, a world leader in responsible denim sourcing, this selvage denim has a dramatically lower environmental impact than traditional selvage denim while offering all of the same benefits—the same look and feel, durability, and its ability to fade with the wearer’s personal wear patterns. At a medium 13 oz weight, the fabric is perfect for daily wear, finding the sweet spot between sturdy and wearable. The selvage tag has a custom double stripe in green.
