The Maritime Wool Shirt Jacket
The Maritime Wool Shirt Jacket
Story
Easy-to-wear design in stout, double-face wool to brave any nor-easter
Pull on this take on the classic wool overshirt, and you're carrying on the history of the New England fishing communities that inspired it. The same hardworking details will keep you warm and set for winter's worst, like heavyweight, double-face wool and oversized chest pockets for anything you need. Plus Taylor Stitch upped the game with a few modern details, like elegant dark horn buttons that look and feel substantial, and a tailored fit so you can wear this for a night out with friends or a day battling the elements —or both.

Again, it’s easiest to measure across the back of the garment - Body Length: Start at the top of the shoulder where it meets the neck seam, and measure straight down to the hem - Sleeve Length: Start at the center of the back of the neck, measure straight across to the shoulder seam, and then follow the edge of the garment to the cuff. About Taylor Stitch
Getting ahold of Taylor Stitch’s apparel is like going back in time—to an era before cheap, disposable clothes flooded the market. Their stuff is built well, for the long haul, from durable fabrics sourced from handpicked mills around the world. And we know that especially after a couple years of wear, their duds will be some of the softest, and hardest-wearing in your closet. It might just be the “Taylor” in their name, but their clothes really do have the fit and feel like they were made one at a time. From double-cloth waffle fabric to racking stitch and jacquard knit constructions, Taylor Stitch gives each piece a personality any man could fall for…Plus their damn good looks don’t hamper the odds.
