The Mariner Wool Peacoat
Story
Handsome, heavyweight tailored peacoat that’s built to go the distance
The trend-proof peacoat has seen quite a bit of action since its debut back in the 1800s. Taylor Stitch updated this timeless garment for the present day with a shorter length that’s ideal for everyday wear while retaining the iconic double-breasted silhouette and heavyweight 22-ounce wool construction. Built to be the perfect top layer over everything from a tee to a chunky, sweater, this rugged-yet-refined Mariner Wool Peacoat is just the ticket to fighting off the cold in style.

Again, it’s easiest to measure across the back of the garment - Garment Body Length: Start at the top of the shoulder where it meets the neck seam, and measure straight down to the hem - Garment Sleeve Length: Start at the center of the back of the neck, measure straight across to the shoulder seam, and then follow the edge of the garment to the cuff. Pro tip: it’s easiest to measure across the back of the sleeve

About Taylor Stitch
Getting ahold of Taylor Stitch’s apparel is like going back in time—to an era before cheap, disposable clothes flooded the market and our Instagram feeds. This stuff is built well, for the long haul, from durable fabrics sourced from handpicked mills around the world. And Taylor Stitch knows, especially after a couple years of wear, their duds will be some of the softest, and hardest-wearing in your closet. It might just be the “Taylor” in their name, but their clothes really do have the fit and feel like they were made one-at-a-time.
