Of all the hardwearing waxed jackets our team behind Flint and Tinder have built over the years, this one might just be the most approachable. It’s lighter, finished with snap hardware rather than buttons, and a touch more refined than its older brother, the Flannel Lined Waxed Trucker. The James Snap Waxed Jacket is a clean silhouette that pairs easily with just about anything in your closet. It’s simple to dress up, not too slim or boxy, and free of unnecessary bells and whistles that can overcomplicate a look.

Sizing

• The Tall Fit has a traditional silhouette (like our classic James Waxed Snap Jacket) but built with a longer body length and longer sleeves
• Ideal if you're over 6 feet tall or have a longer torso
• If the sleeves feel a little longer out of the box, they will mold and crease for personalized fit over time

How to Measure - Chest: Measure straight across from edge to edge, starting 1" below the armhole, multiply by 2 - Shoulder: Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam. Again, it’s easiest to measure across the back of the garment - Body Length: Start at the top of the shoulder where it meets the neck seam, and measure straight down to the hem - Sleeve Length: Start at the center of the back of the neck, measure straight across to the shoulder seam, and then follow the edge of the garment to the cuff. Pro tip: it’s easiest to measure across the back of the sleeve

The beauty of their waxed cotton is that it’s built to last and responsibly sourced with innovative low-impact manufacturing techniques. As a cotton fabric, it adjusts to ambient temperatures—becoming soft and more breathable in warm weather, and more windproof when the mercury drops.
