Story
A comfort-forward take on the classic boat shoe
The LUCA Terra Low Boat Shoe is our take on the classic boat shoe, designed with a modern balance of dressed-up ease and premium comfort. Each pair passes through the hands of artisans in our Portuguese factory, handcrafted from waterproof leathers with heavier natural oils (a nod to the original boat shoe's water-repelling roots) sourced from Europe's best tanneries. The silhouette features a hand-sewn moc-toe construction for superior durability, with reinforced stitchwork all-around. At the base, natural Lactae Hevea gum soles are hand-pressed into a springy and supportive shape, keeping every step supportive and comfortable.
We're wearing this timeless shoe everywhere from dockside at a yacht club to elevated outdoor dinner events. Collared shirt not required, but recommended.

About the Factory
Located in Portugal, Maximo International is a family-owned factory that spans over three generations. The factory prides itself on its highly skilled artisans, who put together LUCA footwear stitch-by-stitch. Maximo International is also certified by a number of ethical production organizations, including the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), the Recycled Claim Standard (RCS), and the Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA).
