Quilted Thermal Tanker Jacket - Exclusive
Story
Huckberry-exclusive jacket inspired by WWII-era military outerwear
Standard issue for armored vehicle crews during WWII, the Tanker Jacket earned its rank in menswear history through a sharp balance of military utility and clean tailoring. The earliest iterations of the style were intentionally streamlined so soldiers’ gear wouldn't catch on levers, hatches, or controls as they moved around within. Relwen’s Quilted Thermal Tanker Jacket takes the same approach, leaving the utility intact while updating the fit, feel, and fabric—including the insulation—for today.
We compiled customer feedback and archival inspiration to develop a new version of the popular Quilted Tanker Jacket in partnership with Relwen Founder Jamie Rupp. Exclusive to Huckberry, the thermal tanker is a warmer, more relaxed-fitting—but far from boxy—iteration with a new soft, suede-like peached poly-cotton-nylon shell. It's filled with lightweight, recycled polyester insulation to lock in warmth without unnecessary bulk, and there’s a wool-lined stand-up collar for added wind protection. It’s finished with a polyurethane coating on the backside to shed light rain and resist stains.

About Relwen
There’s a certain familiarity to Relwen that reminds us of days spent paging through old Sears & Roebuck catalogs, lusting over lever-action rifles, brass compasses, and rugged outerwear. In a way, those things and more have shaped the modern Relwen collection, where classic Americana, a vintage hunting aesthetic, and modern technical upgrades all blend into perfectly considered menswear that will last you for years.
