Tarvas for Huckberry Forest Bather Hiking Shoe
Story
*A Tarvas x Huckberry exclusive colorway—-inspired by Japanese practice of *Shinrin-yoku
The Forest Bather Shoe merges technical hiking elements (like lugged outsoles for excellent traction and water-resistant mudguards for fending off water and dirt) with traditional Japanese embroidery. The aptly named silhouette references the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, which involves absorbing the forest atmosphere with mindfulness and intention. Thanks to thoughtful touches—such as sueded accents along the heel and a Japanese embroidery lacing system, the Forest Bather’s practical design faithfully encourages wandering deep into the unknown.

About Tarvas
If you already knew Helsinki was the world’s coldest capital, then you’re probably aware that the average temperature hovers right around freezing, and they’ve got about 51 days without a peep of sun. Based in the heart of this brisk city, Tarvas was born with the goal of crafting dependable footwear that could stand up to these unforgiving Nordic climates, all while looking sleek as can be.
