Spey Jacket
Spey Jacket
Story
An archival waxed jacket originally built for fishermen
First designed in the ‘80s, the Barbour Spey was cut shorter so anglers could wade deep without soaking their kit. Decades later, it’s back—with all the heritage details intact and a slimmer, more modern cut. The 6oz waxed cotton shell shrugs off wind and rain, while the soft corduroy collar and traditional throat flap keep the chill off when the weather turns. Two lower jetted pockets handle the essentials, and the chest D-ring is a nod to its sporting roots. Whether you’re casting a line, strolling city streets, or want a piece of Barbour history in your rotation, this one’s as functional as it is iconic.

About Barbour
What started in 1894 in the small coastal town of South Shields, England has grown into the cultural titan we know today, recognized by The Queen and worn by a different kind of royalty: James Bond. Fortunately for us, Barbour never forgot where they came from. Maybe that’s because they never actually left. Five generations later, this family-run business still operates in South Shields, bringing wit, grit and glamour to its beautifully functional clothing inspired by the British Countryside. They may be best known for their waxed cotton garments, but every piece of clothing they design is built on the same founding principles of quality, attention to detail, durability, and being fit for purpose.
