The classic oxford done right
Like a well-made Old-Fashioned, a white, oxford buttondown done right is a thing of beauty. RRL’s vintage-inspired version does not disappoint. Sewn from a fine, pinpoint oxford cotton weave, it has a slim cut and tailored fit for your sharpest occasions. Handsome-yet-subtle mother of pearl buttons line the front placket and secure the shirt’s barrel-style cuffs. Additionally, it has a straight, crisp collar and a traditional, left chest pocket. To finish it off, RRL has shirred the back yoke for ease of movement and comfort.

How to Measure - Your Neck: Measure around your neck where a collar would sit, just below the Adam’s apple, keeping the tape level - Your Chest: Measure under your arms around the widest part of your chest, keeping the tape level across the front and back to get an accurate measurement - Garment Chest: Measure straight across from edge to edge, starting 1" below the armhole, multiply by 2 - Garment Shoulder: Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam. Again, it’s easiest to measure across the back of the garment - Garment Body Length: Start at the top of the shoulder where it meets the neck seam, and measure straight down to the hem - Garment Sleeve Length: Start at the center of the back of the neck, measure straight across to the shoulder seam, and then follow the edge of the garment to the cuff. Ralph Lauren was born in the Bronx to immigrant parents, and went on to become a US Army soldier, tie salesman, businessman, philanthropist, oh, and an iconic fashion designer.
