The Craighill Sidewinder Knife is a strategic tool finally realized after a years-long collab with Chen Chen and Kai Williams, the multidisciplinary design studio based in Brooklyn. Not to be mistaken as a simple pocket knife, this is a carefully, creatively designed, serpentine-inspired kinetic sculpture—with motion at its core. The interlocking mechanical hilt moves the unfixed handle perfectly in sync with the blade, cocooning it with its wavy design when closed. Impressively, the 12C27 steel blade fends off corrosion and was purpose-built to have a lasting sharpness. This will fit perfectly in your pocket, but you’ll want to leave it out for display.
