Shadow 5000 Sneaker
Story
A classic sneaker born in the ‘80s and still seeing its best days
First debuting in the ’80s, this iteration of the Shadow 5000 is built with Saucony's latest performance hardware, ensuring it's still seeing its best days. It has an XT-600 lugged outsole for dependable traction underfoot, shock-absorbing EVA foam in the midsole for all-day comfort, and a mesh-suede upper for breathability. Last but not least, it has speed lace eyelets half-way up and at the top—a nod to its first, performance-built days and a reminder the Shadow can still turn it up when it needs to.

About Saucony
In their 121 years of hard training, Saucony has seen it all. They’ve seen their shoes transform from humble leather cleats into today’s lightweight wonders, sponsored some particularly badass runners like Rod Dixon, and even played a part in the shoes Neil Armstrong wore for his “one small step” onto the moon.
