If you ever thought a pair of sneakers could do better—and we’re not just talking about the way they perform—Veja feels you. In 2005 they decided to make sneakers better by paying workers fair wages and ensuring ethical working conditions. Their raw materials come from ecological agriculture and are processed without polluting chemicals. Then they went ahead and layered in stellar classic design to create a line of sneakers that are, by all accounts, better. A reinterpretation of classic 80s athleisure, the SDU is a sporty, durable sneaker perfect for a long walk down cobblestone streets to the cafe for an afternoon espresso.
