Story

The classic ribbed tank that pays homage to the rugged worker

It took a good while for tank tops to become popular amongst men’s fashion—worn informally starting in the 1950s. The Freenote Cloth Ribbed Tank Top tips its proverbial hat to the decades-long journey of the undershirt-turned-everyday-wear top. Made from 5-ounce wide ribbed knit from Japan using cotton binding, this was purpose-built to last against hardwearing tasks and everyday use. It’s been rinsed and preshrunk so you always get the best fit, and its cotton material guarantees a softness you’ll appreciate day in and day out.

About Freenote Cloth

Freenote Cloth embodies the spirit of the classic American working man: think grizzled ranchers, dusty railroad hands, and hardened ironworkers. Based out of San Juan Capistrano, an old mission town in California’s historic ranching country, Freenote’s collection is made in America and uses sturdy, high-quality materials like selvedge denim and Japanese cotton blends to pay homage to the distinguished design, utilitarian functionality, and pure durability of early American workwear.
