Reverse Sateen Barrow Overshirt
Reverse Sateen Barrow Overshirt
Story
A vintage-inspired military overshirt with a drapey fit and utilitarian construction
The Reverse Sateen Barrow Overshirt pays homage to the functional yet understated style of ‘60s surplus garments—clothes originally designed for military use but later adopted for everyday wear due to their durability and ease. With its boxy, oversized fit, this shirt captures the practicality that made these pieces timeless. It’s been artfully washed and tinted for an authentic, already broken-in look and feel. Crafted from Japanese sateen with the less conventional reverse side facing out, it exudes the subtle, rugged charm that’s perfectly suited for weekend weddings and casual nights out with the guys.

About RRL
Ralph Lauren was born in the Bronx to immigrant parents, and went on to become a US Army soldier, tie salesman, businessman, philanthropist, oh, and an iconic fashion designer. If his story doesn’t speak to the raw promise of opportunity that underwrites the American Dream, we’re not sure whose story does. Named for Ralph’s expansive cattle ranch in Colorado, RRL is his love letter to the industrious, pioneering spirit of the American West, and everything in their collection carries on the rugged, independent style that makes something a classic piece of Americana.
