Story

A weather-resistant pullover you can toss in the washing machine

Filson took notes from early mountaineers and WWII-era troops serving in Arctic units to build the Lightweight Ranger Anorak, and this newer version utilizes innovative, 4-oz waxed cotton from England’s historic British Millerain. And by the way, British Millerain ain’t your average waxed cotton—it’s not oily which means it can be thrown in the washing machine. Not to mention, it’s water-resistant and nearly windproof, plus the hood is big enough to cover your head, even with a hat. We throw this on when Mother Nature gets any grisly ideas.
