Story
Danner's most advanced hiker to date—now in an exclusive Proof colorway
When our friends at Danner hit us with the chance to work together on our very first Proof footwear collab, we knew we had to choose the MTN45 Low Hiker as the shoe of choice. This tonal grey colorway, called Nacreous Clouds, is laid upon one of the toughest performance hiking sneakers we’ve ever tested. The upper is made from a strong and durable suede leather that’s sanded on the outside to give it a slight nap with a velvet-like texture, while a nitrogen-infused EnduroFoam is tapped for the midsole. A Vibram® MTN45 mega-grip outsole with deep lugs is added to help stick to any landing.

About Danner
At the height of the Great Depression, Charles Danner moved west to Portland, OR with a simple yet bold mission—to make the most durable, capable logging boots in the country. Generations of Pacific Northwest loggers could tell you he did just that. And military servicemen and avid hikers could tell you Danner’s mission grew to outfit them as well. Today, nearly a hundred years later, they’re still handbuilding iconic hiking and logging boots in Portland—while also forging new paths in lightweight hybrid boots for the trail and city. Hands down, there are few boots better than these to lace up for your next adventure.
