Promaster Dive Fujitsubo Automatic Watch
Story
Exceptional timepieces from the maker of the world’s most accurate autonomous movement
Citizen has a long, rich history of crafting timepieces that prize precision and grace above all else, and their world-class manufacturing capabilities produce watches that handily stand the test of time. In 1983, a long-submerged Citizen diver’s watch was found on the seabed near Long Reef Beach in Australia. Emerging from the deep, encrusted in barnacles from years spent underwater, the watch was still ticking along perfectly fine and the case remained completely watertight. The Fujitsubo (Japanese for barnacle) iteration of their iconic Promaster Dive is a modern-day celebration of that very watch, updated with 21st-century movements and materials for the modern explorer.
