Four guys from unique upbringings founded Banks Journal: Masa and Motoo grew up under the neon lights of Tokyo Japan, while Tim and Rama spent their childhood in the creative hub of Byron Bay, Australia. Fate brought them together but their affinity for surfing, coastal living, and environmental sustainability became the groundwork for Banks Journal—before long, they were making killer pieces like the Primary Swim Short.
