Story
An heirloom blanket made in Montana using Cone Mills White Oak denim
One of These Days is a modern Americana label founded by multimedia artist Matt McCormick. His work is defined by an innate ability to tap into the cultural memory and material presence of the American West—capturing its untamed landscapes across apparel, hard goods, poetry, and art.
Together, we collaborated on a limited-edition collection of apparel and gear. This 60” by 48” blanket is made in Montana by Rag Proper, a family-run shop that blends together vintage Americana and modern craftsmanship into its products. The blanket itself is made from Cone Mills White Oak denim, a type of deadstock denim sourced from the famous White Oak plant in Greensboro, North Carolina—originally opened in 1905 and then shuttered in 2017. Custom One of These Days chainstitched text and graphics are applied to the bottom right corner of the denim throw.
