A classic pilot’s watch with a sustainable twist

The Oris X Cervo Volante blends heritage Swiss watchmaking with modern sustainability. This model is an update of the famed Big Crown Pointer Date pilot’s watch Oris released in 1938; it was designed with a large crown so that pilots could wind it without removing their gloves. That design hallmark lives on in the modern version, but it’s now paired with a naturally tanned Cervo Volante deer hide strap made from red deer sustainably culled in Switzerland. The handsome strap pairs perfectly with the watch’s vintage style, and it’s easier on the environment, too.
