Officer's Workshirt
Story
A durable, functional, everyman shirt
Post WWII, surplus military garments became go-to civilian staples for long, hard days on the farm or in the factory. Picking up where the ‘40s left off, RRL’s Officer’s Workshirt is sewn from medium-weight cotton twill with a subtle slub texture that’s been heavily washed for a lived-in feel. Complete with oversized patch pockets, it captures the hardworking spirit of the original “everyman” shirt.

Again, it’s easiest to measure across the back of the garment - Garment Body Length: Start at the top of the shoulder where it meets the neck seam, and measure straight down to the hem - Garment Sleeve Length: Start at the center of the back of the neck, measure straight across to the shoulder seam, and then follow the edge of the garment to the cuff. Pro tip: it’s easiest to measure across the back of the sleeve

About RRL
About 100 years ago in the American West, garments were crafted with a hardworking grit—a blue-collar sturdiness that could endure long demanding days on a ranch, along with the harsh swings of a desert climate. These industrious, heritage styles are what inspired menswear legend, Ralph Lauren, to establish his offshoot brand Double RL, named after his own Colorado cattle ranch. Now one of the world’s most recognized brands, Ralph Lauren’s unwavering dedication to his craft has remained steadfast. From RRL denim and his iconic pony polo to his high-end Ralph Lauren Purple Label, each piece hits that perfect sweet spot between rugged and refined, so you can count on these heirloom-worthy styles staying in your rotation for plenty of years to come.
