Story
An insulated shirt jacket from one of the kings of Americana
Clean and simple, the Mountaineer Quilted Shirt Jacket is spun out of a cotton twill to achieve a homespun-inspired nep texture and vintage feel. About RRL
About a century ago in the American West, durable garments were made for gritty work, enduring long days in harsh climates. Inspired by this iconic style, Ralph Lauren founded Double RL (named after his Colorado ranch). Starting with a handmade necktie in 1967, the RRL brand has always focused on timeless designs and top-quality materials—untouched by passing trends—and gone on to become an American legend, appearing in films and on the Olympic stage. Ralph Lauren's dedication to quality is unwavering, from RRL denim to the hallmark pony polo and the high-end Purple Label collection. Each piece balances ruggedness and refinement, which is why RRL always earns a spot (or many) in our closet.
