Monoposto Chronograph
Monoposto Chronograph
Story
Inspired by the monoposto, or “single seat,” Grand Prix cars of a simpler time
The unique redline crystal of the Monoposto pays homage to the red tape that well-intentioned mechanics often applied to the dials of early Grand Prix cars to mark the upper limits of the engine. It’s a bold design, one worthy of being Autodromo’s first automatic chronograph. Both the black and silver dial colorways are limited to only 200 pieces each, making this a special watch that you’ll only be able to get your hands on for a very limited time. As with all Autodromo watches, the Monoposto arrives in beautifully conceived packaging evoking the idea of a road trip in Northern Italy circa 1960, complete with vintage-inspired map hand stamped with your purchase date.
