The team at Flint and Tinder worked to answer the age old question, “What makes the perfect flannel?” It has to be soft (not itchy). Cut with enough room to allow for layering (but not too much room). And perfectly weighed to keep you warm outside (but not too stuffy when indoors). The result? The Midweight Cozy Flannel: a brushed flannel shirt cut from 260 GSM cotton, reinforced with triple needle stitching on high-wear areas and durable oversized buttons to match its robust silhouette. It’s made to mimic a classic work shirt, which means better long-term durability and improved range of motion in movement. One cool design note is the yoke of the shirt doesn’t level off with the shoulders, but rather it crosses at an angle. The angle reduces restriction when lifting your arms up in the air or waving them side-to-side, which, in return, creates a flannel with the easiest movement you’ll ever experience.

How to Measure
- Garment Chest: measure on a shirt from side to side starting 1” under the armpit, multiply by 2
- Shoulder Width: measure on a shirt straight across the shoulder from seam to seam
- Body Length: measure on a shirt from the high shoulder to the bottom hem
- Sleeve Length: measure on a shirt from the center back to the cuff opening
