Mendon CPO Shirt Jacket
Mendon CPO Shirt Jacket
Story
A WWII-inspired CPO built for modern wear
The Mendon Shirt Jacket draws inspiration from the U.S. Navy's standard uniform for Chief Petty Officers, which became one of the most iconic jackets for American soldiers during World War II. Freenote Cloth built their rendition from a custom 9.5oz wool blend, lined at the yoke and sleeves for comfort, and sewn in the USA with corozo fisheye buttons. The result is a shirt jacket that carries its military roots into everyday rotation—rugged, versatile, and built to last.

About Freenote Cloth
Freenote Cloth embodies the spirit of the classic American working man: think grizzled ranchers, dusty railroad hands, and hardened ironworkers. Based out of San Juan Capistrano, an old mission town in California’s historic ranching country, Freenote’s collection is made in America and uses sturdy, high-quality materials like selvedge denim and Japanese cotton blends to pay homage to the distinguished design, utilitarian functionality, and pure durability of early American workwear.
