Matlock Plaid Workshirt
Story
Midcentury-inspired workshirt from the brand that’s the epitome of Americana
When a brand is named after a 17,000-acre cattle ranch in southwestern Colorado, you know the clothes are going to honor the spirit of the American West. True to form, this rugged workshirt from RRL is made of yarn-dyed cotton twill with a brushed finish for softness. Authentic period details from the 1950s complete the tribute with authentic runoff chain-stitched construction at the side seams.

Again, it’s easiest to measure across the back of the garment - Garment Body Length: Start at the top of the shoulder where it meets the neck seam, and measure straight down to the hem - Garment Sleeve Length: Start at the center of the back of the neck, measure straight across to the shoulder seam, and then follow the edge of the garment to the cuff. Pro tip: it’s easiest to measure across the back of the sleeve

About RRL
About a century ago in the American West, durable garments were made for gritty work, enduring long days in harsh climates. Inspired by this iconic style, Ralph Lauren founded Double RL (named after his Colorado ranch). Starting with a handmade necktie in 1967, the RRL brand has always focused on timeless designs and top-quality materials—untouched by passing trends—and gone on to become an American legend, appearing in films and on the Olympic stage. Ralph Lauren's dedication to quality is unwavering, from RRL denim to the hallmark pony polo and the high-end Purple Label collection. Each piece balances ruggedness and refinement, which is why RRL always earns a spot (or many) in our closet.
