Malo Boat Shoe
Story
Hand-stitched boat shoes with go-anywhere rubber soles
Paraboot’s take on the boat shoe, the Malo features the moccasin-style toe construction and leather laces that define the genre, but it also comes with some notable upgrades. The natural rubber sole has lugs for increased grip and durability (they also give the Malo a unique aesthetic), and it’s attached to the leather upper using a Blake stitch, which reduces bulk and makes the shoe lighter and more flexible. And like all Paraboot models, the Malo offers top-notch craftsmanship: Each pair is hand-stitched in Spain. On the dock or on the street, this is a shoe that’ll turn heads.

About Paraboot
Founded in 1908 by Rémy Richard, Paraboot has been crafting shoes that blend rugged durability with timeless style. The brand name comes from the Brazilian port of Para, where Richard originally sourced latex to make their famous rubber soles. Today, the family-run brand is in its fourth generation, still operating in their home country of France.
