Lowerdale Quilted Vest
Story
*Warmth and style from a historic name in outerwear *
When you think of Barbour clothing, you think of the scenic, rolling hills of the British countryside. For over 125 years, they’ve been providing fishermen, countrymen, and outdoorsmen with high-end, field-ready clothing that, with each year under their belt, only gets better with age. Now on their fifth generation of family-owned garment manufacturing, Barbour revamped their classic vest with the Lowerdale Gile. With Barbour’s signature diamond quilting and stand up collar, this brings as much warmth as wear-with-anything style.

About Barbour
What started in 1894 in the small coastal town of South Shields, England has grown into the cultural titan we know today, recognized by The Queen and worn by a different kind of royalty: James Bond. Fortunately for us, Barbour never forgot where they came from. Maybe that’s because they never actually left. Five generations later, this family-run business still operates in South Shields, bringing wit, grit and glamour to its beautifully functional clothing inspired by the British Countryside. They may be best known for their waxed cotton garments, but every piece of clothing they design is built on the same founding principles of quality, attention to detail, durability, and being fit for purpose.
