Linen-Cotton Canvas Jacket
Story
A Type A-1-inspired flight jacket with a comfy slub texture
RRL takes its cue from vintage flight jackets, drawing inspiration from the Type A-1 model first issued in the late ’20s. This modern interpretation is crafted from a pigment-printed, linen-cotton blend with a visible slub texture for added depth and complexity. Complementary Corozo nut buttons hold down the front placket, adjustable cuffs, and front patch pockets. Pre-washed for a broken-in feel, this jacket is unstructured and unlined for a relaxed, easy-wearing silhouette. Plus, it stays true to its roots by featuring a shorter rib-knit hem for a snug, vintage-inspired fit.

Again, it’s easiest to measure across the back of the garment - Garment Body Length: Start at the top of the shoulder where it meets the neck seam, and measure straight down to the hem - Garment Sleeve Length: Start at the center of the back of the neck, measure straight across to the shoulder seam, and then follow the edge of the garment to the cuff. About RRL
About a century ago in the American West, durable garments were made for gritty work, enduring long days in harsh climates. Inspired by this iconic style, Ralph Lauren founded Double RL (named after his Colorado ranch). Starting with a handmade necktie in 1967, the RRL brand has always focused on timeless designs and top-quality materials—untouched by passing trends—and gone on to become an American legend, appearing in films and on the Olympic stage. Ralph Lauren's dedication to quality is unwavering, from RRL denim to the hallmark pony polo and the high-end Purple Label collection. Each piece balances ruggedness and refinement, which is why RRL always earns a spot (or many) in our closet.
