Inspired by the standard-issue flight jackets of the '30s

The bomber jacket has a helluva history. In short, this jacket is inspired by the A-2 in the ‘30s, which switched out the buttons on the A-1 bomber jackets for a more secure zip closure and a fold-down collar. Today, Ralph Lauren is taking that same historical silhouette, but reimaging it in 100% leather, a ribbed baseball collar, ribbed sleeves, and sateen lining for a look that’s timeworn from the very start.
