What do Shinola and J Dilla have in common? A lot, actually: Both the brand and the late hip-hop producer have roots in Detroit, and they share an obsession with time (beats in Dilla’s case and watches for Shinola). This limited-edition Runwell Chrono—just 500 produced in all—honors Dilla’s incredible music legacy and with a suite of eye-catching details, including a transparent cassette-tape motif on the dial and an embossed “8 Bar” navy leather strap.
