Story
Made-in-Korea vintage expedition parka
Inspired by mountain expedition parkas of the 60's, the Karakoram is a fan-favorite and now in its 5th iteration. Starting with the fabric, it's constructed from a 60-40 cotton-nylon blend that has a vintage, textured finish just like how they made 'em over a half century ago. Heavenly duck down is tucked away in neat, square baffles. And the warmth rating is further boosted thanks to a thick liner on the inside, a storm flap, and a YKK® 2-way zipper. As if that weren't enough, there are waxed drawcords at the waist and hood to further close it off from the elements. Lastly, smart design choices—like a built-in visor on the hood, 4 button-secured drop-in pockets, and internally ribbed cuffs for warmth—are added bonuses we can't keep quiet about.
