Yuketen's Italian Hex Eye Shoe is inspired by the aesthetic of a classic boat shoe and the traditional construction of a moccasin. The upper is constructed with Horween Pebbled Grain Chromexcel Pull-Up Leather tanned in Chicago, IL. As for the midsole, Yuketen engineered these with a thoughtful combination of 8 layers—including leather, rubber, memory foam, arch support, and a steel shank—for comfort with every step. Last but not least, the durable, non-slip Italian-made Cortina lug sole lets you wear these from the marina to the waterfront restaurant while looking sharp every step of the way.

About Yuketen

Every now and then you get a mad scientist-type innovator who seems to bend all the rules. It turns out that Yuketen’s lead designer, Yuki Matsuda, falls into that category—and it’s totally paid off, since he’s now one of the most revered shoemakers out there. Using traditional shoe-making techniques and heritage styles as his foundation (think work boots and moccasins) he reimagines the whole shoe—adding here, taking away there, resulting in a modern hybrid of all the best-looking and comfiest parts.
