The Wills Isles Linen Shirt starts with a lightweight 5oz 100% linen fabric that’s garment-washed for lived-in softness, resulting in a shirt that feels dressed up yet well-loved. We turn to linen when temperatures rise because it’s been the go-to fabric in hot climates—from Ancient Egypt to Austin, Texas—for centuries. And for good reason: it wicks moisture and breathes better than silk, rayon, cotton, and especially polyester. So much so that we liken it to on-body air-conditioning. But it’s long-lasting, too.
Even though linen is soft to the touch (and gets even softer with wear), it is incredibly tough because the natural fibers are long and thick. Instead of wearing out, it actually gets stronger every time you wash it. But that’s not the only reason you’ll keep our option. The Isles Linen Shirt wears in a timeless way—neither too baggy nor too tight, just as good-looking untucked as it is tucked in, and in a range of stylish colors and patterns. How to Measure
- Chest: Measure straight across from edge to edge, starting 1" below the armhole, multiply by 2
- Shoulder: Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam. Again, it’s easiest to measure across the back of the garment
- Body Length: Start at the top of the shoulder where it meets the neck seam, and measure straight down to the hem
- Sleeve Length: Start at the center of the back of the neck, measure straight across to the shoulder seam, and then follow the edge of the garment to the cuff. Pro tip: it’s easiest to measure across the back of the sleeve

- Machine wash cold gentle cycle with similar colors. Wash inside out. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low
- Remove promptly while slightly damp. Low iron while damp for best results
