Followers of Huckberry won’t be surprised to learn that we basically live in hybrid shorts in the summer, and this one won’t be any different. For the uninitiated, these badass shorts are built to go from the water to the trail to the cantina without skipping a beat and—even better—drying lightning fast in between, whether its post-cannonball water or beer from an ill-advised chugging contest gone wrong. Lucky for everyone under the sun with a pair of legs, Free Fly hunkered down over the past year and managed to improve what we thought was the perfect pair of shorts, only to wow us by taking comfort, fit, and utility to new levels with the Hybrid Short II. All the good looks, breathability, and four-way stretch of the originals remain intact, dialed in with careful tweaks that make these shorts a worthy successor to the original.

Materials

Bamboo fabrics are naturally buttery soft, UV-protective, breathable, and moisture-wicking. Free Fly incorporates this excellent natural fiber into all of their clothing to put their performance lifestyle wear a cut above the rest. The bamboo textile lines the waistband and pockets, where potential irritation can occur.

• Shell: 86% polyester, 14% Spandex
• Lining: 70% viscose from bamboo, 30% polyester

Sizing

• The Hybrid Shorts have an athletic fit that's true to size, take your normal size
• If you're between sizes or prefer a more relaxed fit, size up
• 7” inseam sits right above or at the knees
• Due to the nature of the 4-way stretch material, the waist is constructed to fit snug but will stretch into true size after a couple wears
