About
Founded by Hugo Fonce in León, Mexico—the country’s historic shoemaking capital—Unmarked blends 17th-century heritage techniques with contemporary design. Operating out of their own workshop in the "barrio antiguo," a small team of artisans uses antique machinery from the 1920s to meticulously craft every pair over a 200-step process. The brand is dedicated to fair-trade practices and "rethinking heritage" by creating exceptionally durable, resoleable footwear meant to last for decades.
