Snow Peak’s Hozuki Lantern is a masterclass in stylish functionality. Designed and made in Japan, this versatile light can be placed on a table or other surface for a warm, ambient glow, or hung from a higher surface for overhead illumination. This lantern also features a clever, environment-aware Candle Mode, which reacts to wind and sounds around you to respond with realistic, candle-like flickering. When it’s time to go to bed, put it in energy-saving Sleep Mode—it’ll automatically turn off when the surroundings are quiet, and if you roll out of bed to grab a drink or go to the bathroom during the night, it’ll automatically turn back on with the new sound.
