Handsewn Angler Boots
Story
Handsewn moccasin boots with a coastal heritage
The Handsewn Angler Boots pay tribute to classic Maine moccasins—the footwear 1950’s fishermen wore for long days on the coast. Reimagined with thick, full-grain leather and all the right touches of modern craftsmanship, these handsewn boots still have the trusty durability of their predecessors. With high-top lacing for superior security, the Handsewn Angler Boots promise agility on any terrain, blending the charm of American workwear with Yuketen’s precise Japanese design and meticulous Italian artistry.

About Yuketen
Every now and then you get a mad scientist-type innovator who seems to bend all the rules. Well, it turns out that Yuketen’s lead designer, Yuki Matsuda, falls into that category—and it’s totally paid off, since he’s now one of the most revered shoemakers out there. Using traditional shoe-making techniques and heritage styles as his foundation (think work boots and moccasins) he reimagines the whole shoe—adding here, taking away there, resulting in a modern hybrid of all the best-looking and comfiest parts.
