About Gramicci
Founded in `82 by climber Mike Graham, Gramicci was born from the ingenuity of the Stonemasters, a group of risk-taking, freewheelin’ climbers in Yosemite. With the need for greater mobility, Graham is credited with creating the first true climbing shorts, featuring a diamond-shaped gusset and an adjustable nylon webbing belt. This led to the birth of their rugged G-Pants, which gained traction beyond the dirtbag climbing community and was embraced by surfers, skaters, and urban adventurers. From its humble Ventura garage beginnings to becoming a globally recognized brand, Gramicci has remained true to its roots: functional, hardwearing apparel designed for movement and adventures.
