Flint and Tinder
Golden Bear Leather Bomber
Golden Bear Leather Bomber
Story
Flint and Tinder teamed up with the leather experts at Golden Bear—to build an heirloom nubuck leather jacket in a classic bomber silhouette
Here in San Francisco, we're spoiled. Not just by the year-round mild weather and the easy access to Northern California's jaw-dropping scenery. But also by the abundance of industry-leading craftsmen that call this place home. The folks at Golden Bear are a prime example. Ever since the 1920s, this legendary outfitter has crafted their top-notch outerwear for longshoremen and dock workers right here in The City by the Bay. So when Flint and Tinder set out to make a sturdy, heirloom-grade leather jacket, they knew only one collaborator that fit the bill. The result is an extremely good-looking, luxurious nubuck bomber jacket built strong enough to hold up as long as the Golden Gate Bridge's suspension cables.

Care
This nubuck leather jacket is built to last a lifetime—literally. It’s made to withstand a lifetime’s worth of wear and tear, and with a little extra love this’ll be one you pass down to the next generation.
- Use a soft leather brush to brush out any light stains with easy, gentle strokes in the same direction—don’t go crazy or you’ll scuff it up
- Use a nubuck leather protector spray once or twice a year to protect against stains
- Hang and store in a cool, dry place
- If your jacket needs some real deal cleaning, take it to a dry cleaner that specializes in leather care and they’ll bring it back to good as new—it won’t be cheap, but it guarantees results and this jacket is an investment that you want to keep in good shape
