Flint and Tinder teamed up with Golden Bear to build an heirloom-quality leather jacket in a classic moto racer silhouette

Since the 1920s, Golden Bear has been the epitome of All-American craftsmanship—cutting and sewing top-notch outerwear for longshoremen and dock workers in their San Francisco workshop. So when Flint and Tinder set out to make a sturdy, heirloom-grade leather layer, they knew who to call. The result is a timeless moto jacket with a tailored fit that’ll just look better and better the more you wear it. • Body Lining: 5 oz indigo chambray - 55% cotton, 45% polyester
• Sleeve Lining: 100% acetate
• Pockets: Soft brushed flannel, 100% cotton

• Zippers: YKK Old American nickel silver

Sizing

• The Cafe Racer has a traditional moto jacket fit that’s close to the body with a sharp, tailored look
• If you prefer a more relaxed fit or want to layer underneath your Cafe Racer, definitely size up
• If you’re on the fence deciding between two sizes, we recommend taking the larger size—for example, if you’re normally between a Medium and a Large, take the Large
• For the absolute best personal fit, measure one of your best fitting jackets and compare to the garment measurements below

Care

This leather jacket is built to last a lifetime—literally. It’s made to withstand a lifetime’s worth of wear and tear, and with a little extra love this’ll be one you pass down to the next generation.

• Use a soft leather brush to brush out any light stains with easy, gentle strokes in the same direction—don’t go crazy or you’ll scuff it up
• Use a leather protector spray once or twice a year to protect against stains
• Hang and store in a cool, dry place
• If your jacket needs some real deal cleaning, take it to a dry cleaner that specializes in leather care and they’ll bring it back to good as new—it won’t be cheap, but it guarantees results and this jacket is an investment that you want to keep in good shape
