Story

An authentic indigo staple with a decades-old soul

RRL masters the art of the vintage patina with this yarn-dyed French terry sweatshirt. Each piece is dyed with true indigo and washed to replicate the perfect sun-faded look of a found treasure. With heritage-correct details like the double V-inset and flexible ribbed side panels, it delivers a natural flexibility that feels broken-in from the very first wear.

Features

  • Yarn-dyed with true indigo to create a deep, evolving color that lightens and fades
  • Ribbed side panels allow for natural ease of movement
  • Classic double V-inset at the neck reinforces the collar against stretching and wear
  • Mid-weight cotton French terry offers breathable comfort for year-round versatility
  • Rib-knit cuffs and hem provide a clean, secure fit that layers comfortably under a jacket

Sizing

  • The French Terry Crewneck fits true to size. Take your usual crewneck size.
  • For the best personal fit, compare the measurements of one of your best-fitting sweatshirts to the garment measurements below

Again, it’s easiest to measure across the back of the garment - Body Length: Start at the top of the shoulder where it meets the neck seam, and measure straight down to the hem - Sleeve Length: Start at the center of the back of the neck, measure straight across to the shoulder seam, and then follow the edge of the garment to the cuff. About

Ralph Lauren's story—born in the Bronx to immigrant parents, US Army soldier, tie salesman, designer, businessman, philanthropist—speaks to the raw promise of opportunity that underwrites the American Dream. Named for Ralph’s expansive cattle ranch in Colorado, RRL is his love letter to the industrious, pioneering spirit of the American West, and everything in their collection carries on the rugged, independent style that makes something a classic piece of Americana.
