Inspired by Japanese hybrid packs for multiple carry options
The Hybrid is inspired by Japanese multi-carry packs and can be used as a backpack or briefcase. D-ring attachments are also compatible with Black Ember's padded, slide-and-release shoulder strap (sold separately) to carry in messenger mode. It expands from 20-30 liters in the blink of an eye—to stow an extra change of clothes for the gym or a few last-minute items from the grocery store. Black Ember puts their mark on the design with the use of laser-cut, burly-as-hell textiles and custom, aircraft-grade hardware. The Forge Hybrid is built from a high-tenacity, dirt- and dust-resistant 420 Velocity Cordura® RN66 fabric. In-terms of carry, padded, ergonomic shoulder straps and a sternum strap comfortably distributes weight. There's also a butterfly back panel to channel air and keep you cool and dry. Other smart touches include suspended sleeves for both 13" tablet and 16" laptop, a luggage pass-through to secure to a carry-on, and weatherproof YKK® AquaGuard® zippers with locking, theft-deterrent Hypalon® zipper pulls.
